Does anyone dose bacteria as a daily regime. I know there is alot of discussions on the web about this wether doing this helps and what not.  I was rginking of starting brightwell aquatics mb7 and bio reef instead of vodka and carbon dosing alot of ppl on web seem to be doing this because it is easiet and safer than vodka and carbon? Anyone have input on this.

i would go with MB7 and vodka - bioreef is just a carbon source so you are paying a premium for sugar, vinegar or vodka.

start real slow and stick to a regime for 6-8 weeks before making a decision of staying with it or quitting. If you get cloudly water you have dosed too much and need to cut back.

I have been vodka dosing for a few weeks ago. I did not track anything officially, but when my corals started whilting, I found that my nitrate test was not accurate. My nitrates were higher then the test would go. After 3 weeks of dosing, I am now under 15ppm and dropping. Upgraded my skimmer to keep up to the extra waste, things are starting to come back to life.
