The kamoer doser I'm using decided to dump 2.5l of calc into my tank last night. Everything looked fine this morning. Should I be concerned? Have to test params when I get home as I had no time before I left for work. Thinking I may go with the bra do sees and run them off my apex.

Shittt.... Man that's terrible, I would prob say do a large water change ASAP

An over supply of cal will prob mess with your alk levels as well, and maybe mag not to mention PH

I didn't buy it thankfully borrowed from a friend. And yes it's used. Going to do a water change after I test params tonight. Not much I can do till then.

Anyone know how much that would increase cal from a 2.5l mix of tropic marine balling salts.
I'm at work now and going a little crazy about the whole thing. Tank was finally starting to take off too

Lucky it was calc not alk.  Is there a nice white dust anywhere?

No I didn't see any negative results this morning. All my corals looked ok and even were showing feeders when I looked. No precipitation that I could see. Only moonlights on but they. Are bright enought to see everything clearly.
I was definitely glad to see it was not the alk jar empty. That likely woulda crashed the system

Well back when I started dosing, I dosed about twice the amount of alk that I needed too,
The entire tank turned milky white (couldn't see 2" in)
for 3 days, but nothing was worse for wear.

Yea, fingers crossed nothing is affected in your tank :/

Did you test this am what the cal was?

If not, maybe do the math and figured out how much the cal was raised

when your alk starts to dose the calcium will probably come out of concentration and show up as white cloud/dust.

I turned off the doser immediately. Nothing else will dose today while I'm gone. Going to do a water change after testing params before dosing anything else
