Looking good!  Your red planet has that nice green base to it.  Also like that banana tabler, I may have to get a frag of that at some point in time.

Man I don't know how you do it, the green coming out on the red planet is wild and the cyphastrea ( not pictured) unreal, great shots.

So you fragged some things eh ... Hmmmm...

yup theres 2 on there, i broke my colony off while trying to cut 1 but i ended up with 2 and then decided to move the colony to another spot, where its more out in the open and has some room to really shine now.

Glens frag and the new placement of the colony, theres still alot of nice encrusted base where it used to be so i might have 2 colony's soon enough.

Glad to see the red planet looking happy.  I was calling mine "clown-pants coral" for a while when it went green and pink, but as soon as it did that, it EXPLODED with new growth :)

Beautiful shots Duke  8)

Is your meteor shower that green in person?  That's the colour of my newer Cyphastrea while my Meteor Shower has the bright blue and the two are in the same lighting.

greens tend to be exagerated by my camera when i do top down photos, im not sure if its because it removes so much blue with the white balancing that the green shows through, or its its just really that bright while looking top down, i have seen other variants of meteor shower, one that is more blue. This one came from rick and originated from darryl, i got it at ricks swap last year, it grows like mad, this photo below is pretty much 100% true color.

Blues and greens are hard for me to get right when the halides are on.  I hope they are different variants of Cyphastrea...I will be disappointed if they end up looking the same.

You never did grab that bleeched piece at ricks, your still welcome to a piece. I'll be out your way next Friday.

It's definitely different then the one in the photo posted.

My tanks plugging along nicely again lately, no issues to report. I still plan to remove the sand and macro algae from the sump one of these days, im waiting to get some amino acids to keep on hand in case things get too low nutrients after I clean up the sump.

This is the last FTS that's going to be 100% LED lit for at least the next little bit, while I love the color and growth with a full LED setup I need to see if theres any improvements in color or growth from using T5 lighting along with LED. I've added a blue and a purple 54W T5 bulb to my canopy and plan to add in 4 hours of T5 at peak daytime lighting, this gives a nice crisp white look to the tank if all goes well I will bump It up to 5 or 6 hours of T5's with 8-10 hrs of white LEDS and 12 hours of Royal blues. time will tell I guess.
