today is earth day, what are you doing to help

I won't be pouring any motor oil down the drain

All kidding aside. I'm going to limit water changes on clients tanks today and also limit my power usage at home.
I've been trying to reduce my carbon footprint since the beginning of the year. But it's tough in the line of work I do as I dump a ton of water down the drain daily and not to mention all the driving I have to do for work.

If only there was a way we could "recycle" our old tank water quickly and sufficiently. Remove all P04 N03 and replace all used elements. Wouldnt that be nice.
What im.doing for the earth is....not driving(i dont drive any other day anyways lol). And not running my tank lights(black out time) and wont use any rodi water today unless.its an emerg.

I went to indeanapolis for a week of fire dept training so I won't be using much energy at home lol

I am driving my truck 3 times a much as I need to in order to pick up supplies and corals for my power guzzling reef hobby.
