Hmm.. struggled how to title this.

Long story short, am leaving for vacation/my wedding tomorrow and gone until the 15th. I have some neighbors coming to feed the fish, and basic stuff but they know NOTHING. I will have email and messaging available, and can monitor my Apex remotely.

Question is. If the sky falls, and things are outiside the scope of my neighbors abilities, is anyone on here willing to help? I am by RIM park in Waterloo.

is there a lfs close to you that knows what they are doing and you trust them .. to have them on stand by.. you are going to crazy seeing the tank on your phone and not being able to do anything if things go south...

Well after being gone for 10 days, I can report I arrived home the other day and all was well. Some serious glass scrapping was needed, but really that was about it. I took my daily water change through the DOS off line and filled my 50G with RODI water cause my 15G I knew was not enough to top off. Also did that JUST in case one of the pumps failed and my ATO would really throw things off. Went through 30G while gone. I had been ROCK steady at 6.8ALK for a week straight while dosing 80ml ALK and CAL FM balling salts, and the 3G change a day. Getting home it was down to 6.3. Not too bad really. At least I know how much to pump the dosing to compensate for the 3G a day not being replenished. Only other thing was next time I will have them fed a little more. There for sure was a little more aggression as with me walking by the tank all day every day feeding when you can tell then are getting antsy, was not an option. Other than that... perfecto.
