What happens when two encrusting montis run into each other? I put this undata near a sunset monti and the sunset monti has decided that it wants to grow way faster... So I'm thinking that they will run into each other sooner rather than later...

I am putting a red and green together - they supposed to fuse and create a cool look. I am waiting to see if it's true

Id keep them away from eachother.. im like 98% positive you can mix a sunset with a rainbow and so on. But if its a different species or a mix like you said, theyll probably battle it out.

They are different species and they will grow around and on top of each other. You're undata will definitely slime at the edges. I'd protect the undata until it gets a bit bigger, I'd be worried that if the sunset is aggressive, it could really annoy the undata, and the whole thing could go up. My undata was very tempermental even when it was large. It and my confusa basically grew around and over top of each other, and the undata always slimed and showed more annoyance. With selective trimming, it was never a huge issue.
