no, its the dead hair algae, I know that there is some going into the system but want it all going through the whole system...I have awesome flow in that tank and its the sluff off stuff..

I don't go/shop at that store I wonder if any other places in London carry them...

I pretty much only shop at IA lol. Have been for years now without any issues. I guess we all have our preferances though and the preferred retailers debate is a topic for another day lol :) :) :)

at the local fabric shop here in chatham,a running meter of felt (approx 150 micron) which i believe is 4' wide was around $6,so basically a 4x3ft piece,easily made easily a half dozen plus socks with a 6" opening and 14" long,i found after washing they would only last a few days were a single use was getting a week or more easily

How hard would it be to incorporate filter socks in my pre-exisiting setup. Its not set up for socks so i dont know how difficult it would be to do so..
It's easy.

I wasn't originally set up for socks either. But I bought a filter sock holder and it just slips under your return line.

I'm pretty sure our retail store carries them. @aquariumsbydesign should be able to chime in.
