I have 3 yellow coris wrasses in my tank Mark. I'm coming to London tomorrow to see Ian at Sustainable marine and could leave one of my wrasses with him for you. Let me know.

Thank you, not sure when I will be up there again. I have someone locally who may be able to get me some and I am going to try that route first.

Thats shitty to hear Mark. I hope your aquarium rebounds and recovers fast.

What else can you say.
that sucks. good luck

Thank you every one. I have received a few PM's about helping as well. I think I have a master plan thought up now. Seeing that I redid the sump room, why not the DT as well. Not even done the sump room yet...I may need to hide some of this build for a while

Yikes!!!
So sorry to hear Mark. I'm sure you'll rebuild it to be better than ever!

This is a good lesson for anyone in the hobby. Even experienced hobbyists can run into issues that could cause your tank to crash.

Good luck Mark with finding a more natural and sustainable solution for the FWs and rebuilding the system.

Oh man, that is my nightmare! I actually took my frag tank offline from my display because I was getting more and more concerned about FW spillage into the display. Now it’s a dip, and then multiple treatments into the frag tank before anything gets into the display. I know it’s hard to bounce back, but you will! What doesn’t kill us makes us better reefers!

Sorry to hear about this Mark, if I am in your shoe. I would done the same. Redue is the only sure way to rid them all, even those unwanted paly and other stuff you don’t want.
For me ! With this new build, I will set up a qt/frag tank for all of my Corals. Nothing are going in my dt unless I am sure it pest free

Torx. I used the exit last night. Went great. But i only had a small amount of them.
Sorry yours went poorly, It seems that if the tank is over run then things can go poorly very quickly.
Good luck buddy.

What is the best way to treat corals and frags before putting them in our tanks. Would a normal dip do the trick or do you need something specific to target them?

I’ve never had this issue in 20 years of running saltwater and don’t want to start, I usually use a Lugols dip or coralfx before they hit the tank. Should I be adding a new step.
