Found A Beast Of A Tank

I still have to go look at it.

It's undrilled. 90"x30x30 350 gallons.

Glass is 3/4". Apparently it's about 5 years old.

Price is 300 bucks.

Assuming it looks good what would you do as far as drilling etc to make it reef ready. I want to do an I ternal coast to coast with a bean animal and returns over the top

I can drill both corners or centre. Doesn't matter. It isn't messes up with crappy overflows yet lol.

Be sure its not tempered glass, most glass tanks that size are.
$300 is a steel

I'm thinking of doing a Calfo coast to coast internal. It's pretty self explanatory after 4 hours of reading lol. I figure on a beast like this you want 2 sets of bean animals?

How can you tell if it's tempered?

I think you need polarized sun glasses, there's a thread on here somewhere

If you know or if there is a way to find out who the manufacture is you could always contact them..I never understood the sun glasses thing..

I used 3d glasses my daughter got when she saw Frozen. Look through them backwards. The difference between tempered and non tempered is very obvious.

fishing polarized glasses are great they have a higher polarization rating than most sunglasses and are $20 plus they look cool

I have those from back in the day lol. I'm looking at the double bean with a calflo full length internal overflow. Then add the euro bracing around the top.

After 5 days in Bahamas with me taking care of the kids how can she say no lol

Now I'm reading a single 1.5" bean will easily handle the flow.

I'm thinking 3x TTV thru the sump. It's basically going to be a massive Refugium with a section for reactors. External return

I like the external overflow box myself am not a fan of drilled. I like to be able to move the overflow if i ever change my rockwork and if you need more just add another. Versis it being stuck in one spot and the possibility of cracking your tank.
