i personally think we should leave things as they are.  as long as things are kept respectful than good/bad critisism is ok.

i was a member of another forum for several years and it became overmoderated and more and more restrictions were added.
It makes for a place you no longer want to hang out any longer. The more and more we have discussions like this the more likely Rick will be to make some sort of decision as to how to handle these situations as a rule.  We all know that not everyone can be pleased all the time.  I think we should drop the subject.  lol

minus minus minus!

Good lord, at your age I ate at taco bell twice a day, every day three times on Sunday.  Enjoy that metabolism while you can.  You don't want to discover you love chicken wings at age 35 and blow up like a frightened puffer!

Pfft, dumbass youngsters don't know how to enjoy life *grumble*  MINUS!!

Heh, worked at Taco bell...made it easier.  I don't want to go into my personal digestive history, but leave it at 'hardly at all'.  Even went to a doctor once to check it out.  "very efficient digestive track" was the official verdict.  Alas, that too passes (!) with age.

The advantage of having a non paying sponsor site is the site has no one to be accountable to to make money.  That should allow free and open discussion, including criticism and hopefully praise, of stores.  Every store good or bad will have their cheerleaders and haters.  An open discussion can at least get the facts out and allow people to monitor the trend of a one time bad experience or a long term problem.

Secondly, Subway is a franchise, each owned by someone different.  Boycott one store maybe but Subway rocks.  What with the veggie crap though.  Veggies are great but man needs meat (protein).

OH an mucho burrito > quesada

Now go get your self a mucho XL steak burrito !

Haha I haven't had a veggie sub in my life... I'm a avid supporter of P.E.T.A.
( people eating tasty animals)

And salty, unless the 'gym' has a bar you were probably there to list it... Haha

I haven't tried mucho burrito yet as it is to far a drive from the store on a 30 minute lunch.  I will however give it a try.
And for subway, I am just boycotting the one across the street for now.

Quiznos is where its at. Subway is good the odd time.

As for the conversation... I definitely agree that it is highly benefical for everyone to be able to post their experiences so that we are able to make better choices on who to deal with. I mean warranty issues are all ways a big topic and finding out who helps you out and honor them is huge when picking a vendor. Also, value when it comes to frags, variety and sizes are important when deciding who to deal with because, lets face it, frags are not cheap. This is particularly more important when dealing with online sources where you cannot actually see the end product you are receiving and the only way to know if it is worth while is by others comments and reviews.

Also, I think opinions can help stores a lot to work on their customer service and how they manage their companies. I used to go to Big Als here in Kitchener as little as possible because their fish were unhealthy a lot of time, coral tanks looked like crap and prices were out to lunch. Recently though, tanks have improved dramatically. The coral tanks actually look nice and have much better lighting. Prices can still be high on items sometimes but there's no real competition in the area to drive them down.  Overall, a HUGE improvement that I am sure was customer and management driven.

These are where opinions matter for both the customers and vendors.

I have seen on other forum where they will allow feedback or disputes between those involved only.....i thought this was neat.....cuz it allows all to see how vendor and customer are talking and treating one another.....i think it is more third party comments that are not really welcome and it gets the discussion off track. One thing about the latest thread that got edited and closed was that it was titled thanking aaron but snuck in a negative comment towards IA......should have been two seperate threads imo and perhaps elaborated more on why IA did not satisfy the customer......

ya the third party comments are what get out of hand..

but this exact argument/review/dispute has been done before and has gotten out of hand, so i dont blame the mods for trying to prevent a repeat

There was a time where I would agree with you but nah....subway came around with the toasted subs and better bread.  Steak day is the only reason I look forward to Mondays. !  8)
