Well looks like after the move ill be starting fresh. Moved my fragtank over, moved my fiah put them in the fragtank, next day 4 dead fish and half my coral gone. Looks like someone dumped a carton of milk in my tank. Im afraid to look this morning...all that coral and money gone. Really disheartening, makes me wonder if i should just get out and cut my losses.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It's always sad to lose one fish but when that happens how devastating. Don't give up. Look forward and piece it back together

Im confused , why would this happen did you do something wrong ? (Wait to long ) when you said looks like milk , do you mean because of the sand making it cloudy ?

Awhhh Riley, that sucks, did you use part of the water from the frag system to set it up once moved or all fresh?

Thing is it shoulda been minimal..but i f'ed up abd didnt have any sort of bacteria to control the cycle when i added all the fish. So i basically crashed my tank.

Yeah :( , but how long did you wait for your cycle ? ( I know everyone is different ) but I added 2 clowns (probably should have waited longer) because it was only 30 days in they didn't die but I feel like they went to hell and back lol. But even when I dodnmy tank switch over from 20 - 40 gallons,
I only had a new 40 pound bag of live sand and 30 gallons of new fresh saltwatwr and even then I lost some corals and anemone and fish wernt happy for a week,

My next tank will be dry rock and I'll give it about 3 months of cycle
