Hey guys I got buddy set up with my old 40 gal with 20 gal sump vertex 80 in sump skimmer lots off flow tanks been up 3 weeks now only two fish with sine coral from his nano hair algee starting to grow and dytoms starting to kick in I know its a stage was not sure and algee

tank is not cycled, moving too fast, too much nutrients, what are the params?

I got plenty of hair algae at about week 3 too. It lasted a couple months and then poof it was gone. Just keep up with Params and go slowly. Has he been keeping an eye on the cycle though?
