Hammer Growing New Heads?!

i have a hammer I got from a big retailer back a few months ago. A stunning green and purple. Within 2 weeks 2 heads literally disintegrated. I figured it was a goner. I moved it to a bit of a sheltered spot and by some miracle it survived and started puffing up. I looked yesterday and there are 3 or 4 mini heads growing off the skeleton. Nature has a strong will to live. They are too tiny to get a good pic, but I'll try.

Yup, this is totally possible, had the same thing happen to me and the coral completely recovered. As long as there is no algae growth on the skeleton there should not be any problems with the recovery.

Congratulations! Just shows we should never give up when we think things have died, always give them a chance to recuperate.
