I'm looking for advice on hanging lights on the 135 I have 3 black box leds that I am using for now and would like to build or buy brackets I can attach to the aquarium stand rather than hang from the ceiling. Any suggestions where to look or what you may have seen or used yourself?
I have attached a photo from another forum that I found interesting, I'm not sure if this is feasible. I'm open to any or all suggestions
thanks

I used copper plumbing pipe angled at 45 degrees. Used the 'solderless' paste instead of soldering. It was super easy.

A little more expensive but I have seen people use LED TV mounts. You can get small ones for about 50 bucks apiece that have a swiveling arm. I like this idea because you could potential he just push them back to the way if you had to access something in your tank

I hang mine from YoYo Light movers (You buy them for about $19.00 from any hydroponics store)

Allows you the raise and lower your lights. (Handy when feeding, cleaning etc) Simply push up the light or pull down, and they stay put.

You can kinda see them in this pic.

Heres a Video on them:

Two Yo Yos are holding up a 72" (6ft) 4 Bulb T5H) light with 4 Led Reefbars attached.

another option! I will have to look for a hydroponics store, we don't have one in Woodstock. So many options to choose from ! thanks for sharing !

but don't they anchor to the ceiling, I thought that's what you were trying to get away from...
yes, they do Heath, I'm looking at a variety of options for now, I'd prefer not to put them in the ceiling, but I'm open to all options. It would be great to be able to raise the lights for sure !

Two small "Ceiling Hooks" is all you need.

Like these:

Here's a set on Amazon.ca $15.75 Canadian Free shipping.

Being able to adjust the Height is my Favorite feature, Comes in handy to acclimate new coral,
Feeding time, and when cleaning the tank. I don't know how I would be able to get into the tank for maintenance and cleaning with the light in the way.

Make sure the YoYo's you order can support the weight of the Lights you have (they have different ones), The ones linked are for 24 Lbs Max weight Lights
