Can t5 lighting provide enough output to grow hard corals? I want to start flooding my tank with colorful branching hard coral. I need more diversity in the tank. Unfortunately I'm only running t5. 7 bulbs total. Approx 400 watts on a 135 gallon. I know it should be alot more output but I can't afford a metal halide system at this time.

told ya the acro's i got a month ago have grown almost a quater more and thats on my 6 bulber and there sitting at about 12 inches from the light fixture
