They said it hasn't been since 1991 or something that a team didn't have a single shot on goal in overtime. It was 19-0 for pittsburgh in OT.
That said, Bruins got ass-raped. I knew the redwings would be trouble. Look at that list, leafs in 6th place, Rangers will move up, and if ovechkin keeps his team motivated, the leafs are out of the playoffs (again). Like every year, they're weak on D and they don't have the big center they need (Sundin was the last consistent scoring center they had). Ah well. It's a rebuilding year.

They also didn't get a shot on net in the 3rd period either. Only time the zatkoff touched it was in the corner to pass it. 30 min of no shot then face 3 breakaways and shut em down. I'm very surprised by that and impressed.

You should be, but you would get sick and tired of ppl ripping up your team,
leafs lose one or two and it's the end of the world and there automatically 30th in the league,
Anyone with hockey sense * realizes that all it takes is some teamwork and we can be right back on top, talents there just have to make it happen.

thats fine, we are 1-1 for the season so far
i dont mind losing, i just hate all the negativity... not healthy to bottle up all that emotion, im willing to direct anyone that needs it to a professional psychiatrist for therapy..

Actually, it's a history lesson. For 47 years the leafs have gotten fans all juiced up, and then slid to nothing. I mean, if something happens for 2 years, it's a slump, 5 years it's troubling, 10 years it's time for a change, 20 years it's a trend, but at at half a century, it's an etched in stone fact that they choke, suck, dive, or whatever you want to call it. It's not hatred I have for them, it's anger. 40 years of not "getting the joke".
Once you step away from them you see that they do the same things, year after year after year.... and just when they get someone in place that might actually make a change, they fire him, the coach, the owners, etc. because the toronto press started the "it's the coaching staff's fault" bullshit. It will happen this year too, you watch, they'll end up in 10th place, not make the playoffs and then GM and coach will be replaced and it's another "rebuilding year". You're what, 14? Talk to me thirty years from now when they're when you're 44 and if you're still burning that candle, well then hats off to you. Until then, you're just one of the misled that follows a team based purely on geography.

We had a good night tonight. Went 3 for 3 on our home stand.
Thornton picked up the game winning shoot out goal in the 8th round!
I got some great numbers from my guys in my pool tonight cause all shoot out goals count for a point too! I have like 6 players from my pool from the sharks and kings alone.
