It's a weird team, the habs.  I mean thank GOD the game wasn't in habland, or the fans would have made the game unwatchable.  I'm not sure when they decided to go for the crown on "worst in-arena fan behaviour", but they're making a good go of it.  But anyway, they can lose 4 in a row and then come back so strong.  They had us on our heels last night, I can't even blame injuries or bad calls, they straight out beat us. It's frustrating to watch your team slide around and not really play the way they can play, when you know that a good fight or a real dirty play on the part of montREAL would get them fired up and playing like they are capable...but it is what it is.  Shitty play=shitty results.

The ROGERS announcer for the game last night drives me nuts.  He also does the senator games and he's this little pixie with a sort of lisp and I swear I just want to go punch the living bejesus out of him.  Sens played the Bruins and we were just murdering them and he spent the whole game bashing our new acquisition Reilly Smith. Turns out Smith is a powerhouse and that guy is just a goof.

I DETEST pierre mcquire too, I don't know how some of these guys get jobs.  Don't get me started on elliot friedman

I can't stand listening to any other announcers then the ones on Roots sports.

I will say that oddly enough, the leaf announcers are pretty good, except that kadri can have a 60 game scoring drought and then score one goal and they talk like he just won the olympics or something...I mean can they be any more obvious they're shopping him?? But anyway, there's only a few "home" announcers I can't stand.  The good part of the NHL package is I can usually get both feeds for each game.  Sometimes I get stuck with only one.  Philly has terrible announcers, oh and well the southern team announcers must be football rejects, they don't even know what they're commentating on.

Same boat, having both channels for one game is a huge plus. If I don't like one announcer I just switch it over to the others.

It's funny, I've done that maybe 5 times in my whole life, and they have all been habs games.  I love watching those bastards play but damn they need to stop miking the crowd.
