How Do You Sell Your Full Set Up

I'm wondering how people sell their full set up.

For example I have a 125 gallon tank in my basement I want to sell. What happens to all the water? Does the customer transport it? do you leave the sand in the tank when you move it? what's the safest way to sell complete systems with fish?

The customer should transport at least 50% of the water with the live stock, their are 2 ways of dealing with the sand bed, remove and wash or leave in place with a small amount of water. your customer should already have the same salt mixed and heated before the move starts.

That's what I was wondering. How would a customer transport 60 gallons since my tank is 125?

the live stock will use up a good amoun of the 60gal in insulated containers the remaining can go in new pails with lids that have been rinsed out, I'd rinse the pails with hot water then ro and allow to dry..but that may be my ocd talking :p

are you selling a full set up or just a tank...

full set up. What I'm trying to wrap my head around is the water. The tank currently has 125 gallons in it. So do customers take a big chunk of the water? sham said 50% of the water. But still 60 gallons is a lot to transport.

theres other threads like this on here, but to put it simply, any corals and fish, put in 5g pails, fill those with water (5-6 5g pails usually is more than enough)
depending on if your keeping the rock wet or not just wrap the rock in wet newspaper, or submerge it, but thats heavy as hell to carry.

selling a full setup doesnt usually bode well for you financially, its so much better to take your time and part it out, you will be way better off in the end.
