How Tight?

I would say snug. You don't want it so tight that the rubber seal compresses but you don't want it so loose it leaks or vibrates open. So feel for resistance and turn a little tighter. Sure cranking it will work but it will probably leak sooner.

In the automotive industry its 3/4 turn for oil filters or anything of that nature. with bulk heads I always tighten until I start to feel resistance. then 3/4 turn by hand. never had a issue
TBH everyone has a different feel, what I consider the start of resistance may differ from person to person. take my advice with a grain of salt

That's what I've always been told ever since I started my apprenticeship.
they asked me this silly question on my C of Q 5 years ago, the answer is 3/4 turn
