How To Kill Xenia..

So i really want these xenias exterminated from my tank, and id prefer not to remove the rock from my tank and chisel it. Is there any other routes i can take? Starting to smother zoas.

Keep manually scraping and removing it, although if you do not catch it all, it could spread. Only way I know for sure is to dry the rock out for a long time. I used to love that stuff, then it started taking over my tank and I couldn't keep up with manual removal. Now I have trouble keeping it alive.

Clean systems starve it. Magnesium melts is but also the zoas and stuff I think.

Wonder if my vinegar trick would kill it the way it does aptaisia? You could give the rock to me. It will die off in no time?? I can't keep the stuff alive either

Yeah except the rock hs a cpl sps pieces on it and a few zoas mini colonies. So trading the rock is out of the question also lol.

I use a needle/syringe more precise been killing off ugly zoa for years with it.
place the needle in the stock and put a little vinegar and they will die.

Hmm ill have to try that with some of the zoas tryin to take over my sps.. vinegar will work on aips??

Yes vinegar works for aptaisia and manjo. But you've got to be quick with the apt as they close up fast when you approach them
