An hrv would be a wise investment to think about in the future. Having fresh air brought into your home is definitely beneficial. Especially over the winter months when we keep everything closed up all the time.

Hrv would pay for itself over time and benefit your home and health, where an dehumidifier just continues to cost money with the only benefit being that moisture is removed from the air. Dehumidifiers arnt that cheap to run either, they are similar to a Window air conditioner.
