Question pf the day

Rent a generator lol but hard to do if the place is closed due to no power.

If it really came down to it I would run along as extension cord from vehicle inverter to the house sump and to powerhead a and a heater.  Also have a wood burning stove I could use to heat some tank water.

Question pf the day

Oxygen water flow and heat.  Should be able to limp by on that for a while.

Balance between what the fish need- oxygen
And what corals need - flow:)

Just a guess

Re: Question pf the day

For those not watching the news. Here is an article from www.cbc.ca

'Frankenstorm' prompts Red Cross warnings in Ontario

[move]72 hours of supplies urged as Sandy expected to head for Canada as post-tropical storm[/move]

"...The Canadian Red Cross issued a release Sunday urging Ontario families to ensure they have enough food and water to sustain themselves for at least 72 hours as the weather system, which is lashing the U.S. east coast and North Carolina, continues to lumber towards Ontario with wind speeds of up to 130 km/hr..."

"...Environment Canada forecasts the worst of the rain and winds to smack the province Monday night and into Tuesday morning. Gusts are expected to be around 90 to 100 km/hr, with the worst winds expected around southeastern and eastern Ontario and in the Hamilton, Niagara and Sarnia regions..."

Re: Question pf the day

Just went to Lowes and got their 3250W standby gas generator. Got there and had the guy show me where they were and none left except the floor model, I said take it down I'm taking it lol... as he took it down and we were looking it over three people came up looking for them and were pissed watching me take the last one haha. The floor manager still gave me 10% off being the floor model, I laughed and said he could've has an auction right there and made twice as much!
Got her filled up and ready to go. $20 dollars to fill the tank and last 10hrs at half load... expensive if it's out for a while.
Cheers
