hey guys  i found out on sunday my korallai powerheads where goin in reverse  so i took them into the sink and cleaned them up  they still ran in reverse  then when i unplug and plug in again they went the right way ..so i went to goggle it and found its a common problem with the koralias  if yu have a front cover broken there is a bushing inside thats to push on the mpeller when it starts up  so i read to send hydor a email ..i send hydor a email sunday i get a reply monday morn ..then tues morning they said there shipping 2 new covers free of charge  ...will tell ya when i receive them  its going to my port huron usa mailbox

i find my tunze pump goes in reverse if i plug it in backwards, and if i plug it in the right way it blows forwards..

i never heard of that before? i just tryd it with both mine and they both just go forwards. lol but there only about 8 month old hydprs

Has nothing to do how it is plugged in. It depending if coil is positive of negative when it's plugged in. Can technically happen to any power head.

bushing, coil, would be same thing. yea there would be something that would make the bushing always want to turn forward, even if it wanted to go backwards. If companies didn't have something that made them go forward more then backwards, they wouldn't still be on the market today. Its good to hear they sending you new covers to fix your problem.
