So the other day I was trying to save my blue millie and fragged off a healthy branch when I noticed these two green things growing on the rock along side my millie. They are about the size of say somewhere in between a nickel and a quarter, I know the picture sucks but they are on a rock that is against the far back wall of my tank so it is hard for me to photograph them with my cell phone which is my only camera.

Any ideas?

if you can remove the rock to kill them it would be advisable, if you piss them off you will just get MORE! LOTS MORE!

aptisia x works really well on manjoves, i had a few, turned all pumps off and covered the area with the ap. x, and let sit for 10 min, sucked out the stuff (is safe to leave but i figured why not) and they were completely gone

I am gonna take the entire rock out (it isn't that big, and it is pretty easily accessible) and I am going to boil the rock for 10 min or so.

you shouldn't have aproblem putting the rock back in right away... its a small rock.. might cause a small "cycle" but nothing dangerous at all.

Agreed, I read an article some time ago about boiling live rock and it causing very bad things. Use a propane torch, makes you feel better!

Why not take the rock out and leave it out if it's such a small rock, Dry it out and put it back in a few months by then anything on it will be dead.

Ok I might not boil it but leaving it lying around for a few months doesnt make much sense to me either if there are faster methods.

Blow torch (even one of those pocket lighter blowtorches should work) outside,  rince in ro/di,  then right back in your tank

Could bleach the rock.  Rinse and dry and rinse and put back in the tank.  Will be clean rock with all organics gone.  Take about a week.

Blowtorch the nems and the area well.  Watch for exploding rock:). Then put the rock back in.

Dry it out for month but you will still have dead organics in tr rock.

Boil.... Will kill all things.  Rinse it out well and put back in the tank.

Take your pik :)
