So as part of my clean up and purge I wanted to get rid of my big saltwater tank but still have a display tank.  Cue the cad lights tank.  I picked this up and have just started the build, aquascape is finished and light is hung.

want to get some reactors running, limited space under the tank any suggestions.  planning on sps.  will for sure run gfo maybe pellets

If you keep up on your husbandry, you won't need a thing except for a w/c.  5 gallons a week will work well.

So this tank has been a giant pain in my ass. So many phosphate and hair algae issues. Finally looks under control.

You running a reactor? for GFO?
found it helps Tons, I only have a bit of hair algae in the overflow box.

Did you use dry rock?

It was originally dry rock approximately 3 years ago its long since been seeded. I do run a reactor with 1/2 cup of gfo that gets switched every month

I run about a 1/3rd of a reactor of gfo and will be putting on biopellets shortly to get my nitrates undercontrol.
