Kelo Lights

I was just wondering if anyone is using the new Kelo Lights AO 100S model or have any kind of info on them.

Unibob sells em and the store in London has one on a display cube. ad Aquarium Kingdom has them on their display as well. But i'm not sure if the price difference is worth it

I wonder if they are the same price as kessils ( I'd think they'd be a little cheaper)

They are comparable to the kessil 360 if I'm not mistaken. I have one kessil 160 already, need another. So for me not worth the swap to 2 kelp but if you don't have any they are priced right

Yes they are cheaper $429.00 and it includes mounting hardware ( Goose neck ) Kessil $498.00 plus you have to buy mounting hardware, if you add up just the hardware that is included with the Kelo your looking another $100.00 so to compare $598.00 for Kessil and $429.00 for Kelo.
Well I hope they are worth it I just ordered one and hope it runs inline with the Kessils as I have 2, need the 3 to fill in the edges.

Has 8 of them over one of his tanks. My understanding is the come from the same factory, only are controlled a little different. Where Kessel has one dial for spectrum and another for intensity, the Kelo is 1 dial for white, and the other for rest of spectrum.

I feel your pain I had 1 kessil for 8 months just picked up another one 30 days ago at coral reef shop !

You can attach any 0-10v controller to them. The Kelo's are great. If anyone wants to see them in action feel free to stop over.

I was told they are compatible with the kessil spectra controller. I have one apex cable adapter cable left, next purchase of a KELO light from fragtank member gets the cable free of charge.

too bad someone could have a frag tank and have different lights over it and then compare growth after a month then 6 then 12. Oh well
