Leaky Bulkhead.

So im filling up the fragrank with tapwater to water test and i cannot get this one bulkhead to stop leaking..ive tried loosening and tightening and moving it..just wont stop....what do i do? Silicone it in? Its not a massive leak just dripping every 30 secs.

I always put a thin layer of silicone on both sides of the gasket, tighten it hand tight, then about a 1/4 turn past that. Never had a leak yet.
You should replace the gasket with a new one but if not......
Personally I would remove the whole bulkhead, clean ALL mating surfaces on the bulkhead and gasket then apply silicone as I mentioned above.
Just my opinion bud.

There is a chance that the bulkhead has a hair line crack even. I do the silicone trick. Sometimes even filling the empty space between the bulkhead and glass hole with silicone. But if it is still leaking, then replace the fitting as there is probably a crack

riley sorry i didnt reply to your text

one common problem ive fixed for people a few times is if there is sand or debris in the way, the bulkhead will leak, you have to make sure its perfectly clean and perfectly dry for it to seal properly.

On a proper bulkhead silicone is useless but in this hobby we a redundant with everything else so why not haha ":)
