Guess you need a new bulkhead. Do all your gluing, and let dry, before you thread something together. Use a little t-tape on male threads to make sure there are no leaks. If you use silicone make sure the area is dry, or you won't get a good seal.

If it is where you say it is, it is external. Just get some magic wrap from canadiantire. It is stretchable self sealing tape. Works wonders. You can even use it while it is wet and leaking. it will be difficult to wrap where it is, but might be worth the work vs other repair.

Right where the bulkhead head and the pvc meet. The threads are leaking.

Or do you mean it is leaking on the threads of the bulkhead? if that is the case, the bulkhead needs to be removed and reseated. I would replace the bulkhead if that is the case, there may be a crack somewhere in it. So, my 2 cents is replace the bulkhead and fill any gap between the threads and glass hole with silicone as well.

Try silicone... you can try rubbing pvc solvent on leak area.

Temporry fixes but it may get you through. I have been temporarily fixing drip leaks for years

just because its new don't get a false sense that its ok, they can come with barbs or cracks...that why when I need anything like that I order more, if you think that you need 6 order 10...

So you can't get the union apart, and if you can't you will have to cut it out anyway? Just get bigger wrenches on the union, you have to use 2 wrenches, 1 to turn the nut and 1 to hold the bulkhead side of the union. Did you not use teflon tape on the threads, if you did then you just didn't use enough. If you use silicone you have to leave it dry for awhile. Good luck

Yeah i used teflon, but i dont think enough cause ots the cheaper teflon.

No need to even tighten any fitting that tight, use Teflon, lots of it, make sure you put it on the right way, there is a proper direction to wrap Teflon, of you can use the Teflon goop and then thread together, but the. You run that dangerous risk of over tightening. Go just until snug. Pipe threads are all built and designs with a slight taper to them like a pyramid, where as normal nuts and bolts are not, so as you tighten a pipe thread up its getting larger and trying to jam more pipe inside the hole, if you over tighten it you can then start to stretch and warp the plastic pipe or fitting you are working on.

Get it part, Teflon about 20 wraps on it and put it back together, nuff said
