Thanks. Sounds good  :)

It provides 680 mA, so it should be OK. I hope you don't have any unknown 350 mA LEDs.

youll be ok, the more you add the more you under drive them.. which is ok too.. it increases the life of them and keeps them cooler.

With that driver you need to make sure your LEDs are rated for 680mA or more otherwise they will get very hot and burnout. It's constant current so that value will never change but the reason you need 12-20 LEDs is because of the voltage it puts out.

OK, I found some on ebay, but they are 350ma. So I will make sure too look for the 680 ma led's.

forget it, it says max 700 ma. I think i am understanding now.

Yep you can go over with LEDs just not under, 680 is just what the driver does but usually LEDs will have more rounded numbers like 700 or 1000mA. You would't wanna be right on 680 anyways otherwise your running the LEDs right on the edge but manufacturers generally stay in the safe zone for ratings.

I used them to add more blue to my build. The stars are a little smaller though

OK, I was running 12 leds per driver. The min amount for the driver. Once I added a few more leds it dimmed better. Dims all the way down too dull without shutting off and no more blinking on and off like I mentioned earlier. So I guese they don't like to be run at the min led req.

Nope drivers like being in the middle of there range.  Gettin to the min or max and you run into control issues cause the circuits just are not designed for it.

Makes sense now. I'm going too add a couple too the other ones now and they should work better.
Thanks neo
