LED's

I am thinking of switch over to led's. i am going to do a diy. I was reading a few led diy and noticed two different types of led's. cree and bridglux, i was just wondering what led is better and how many i should have on a 65gal. thanks

The CREEs are (as far as I know) higher output, but more expensive (is that right?).  For a 65 gal you would need ~50 CREE LED's to properly light it (for sps anyway).

The Crees are the best on the market. A combo of whites, royal blues, blues and a few UV led's would be best. I'm no LED expert though. I know some people use some reds in there as well to bring out that colour spectrum in corals. Reflectors play a major role as well.
