Santa whispered in my ear last night. Told me that with the year end bonus I will be getting in the new year. That I should invest 3-4 grand in a new system. So I have to decide what to get. Will be a struggle because no one delivers tanks in my area and no movers are interested and private sellers forgot how hard it is to get a big tank into their place. I might just say screw it and spend the money on 3 weeks in Rio de Janeiro, for Carnival

The only Aquarium Related xmas gifts I get are ones I buy for myself. This year all new filters for my R/O some more Dry rock and a new pump for my sump build.......... Would have been a lot cheaper if Santa would have got these for me....

Mrs. Santa and my 2 little elves gave me a new refractometer, TDS/temp meter and a reefkeeper lite! ( they didnt like the idea that I put a used rkl on my wish list but,... i don't care! )
Now I just have to figure out how to set it up and buy some "add-ons"!

If you're dropping that amount of coin you can go Acrylic! The optical clarity is at a whole different level and my boy and I can carry my 320gal no problem. When I got my acrylic 200 20+ years ago I was living in an apartment that was nearly impossible to get large objects into which is why I decided to spend the $$$ for acrylic. I can lift it by myself....
