Lets talk Duncans - who's got 'em?

My gf and I absolutely love the branching Duncan frag that she got from Jerry (I believe) at Fragfest.  It's consistently great looking - polyps extended and flowing in the waves, glowing great, fun to watch eat.  I've had it on the bottom/sandbed the entire time I've had it.

I've read that they are fast growing, especially when hand fed, but I don't believe I've seen any growth on mine yet.  The frogspawn which I've had for about the same amount of time has grown nicely.  I spot feed a few pellets to both corals maybe once or twice a week.

One tip I've read is that to help keep it branching rather than growing in a bunch, mount it sideways.  Also, since it's a photosynthesizing coral, maybe placement higher in the tank would be beneficial.  With those two things in mind I'm kind of contemplating mounting it to a wall.  The frag is mounted onto a flat ceramic triangle so it would be easy to put a glob of glue on the bottom of that and stick it to any flat surface.

Who else has a Duncan coral?  What's your growth been like?  Do you have the branching or bushy variety?  Any tips to share regarding placement?

Most recent pic of my specimen:

Looks good Phil. I have 2 different varieties. The one you have is a Aussie green Duncan which I don't even have anymore. Sold out at fragfest.
IME everything from Aussie land grows slower for me.

Here are the 2 I have now. One was from Rick at his swap last fall.

Old photos I'll try to get an updated one of each tonight. These are taken under 100% royal blue led.

My Duncan grows in a clump and didn't do anything for a long time.  It came with 2 heads and stayed that way for a good 6 months before it started to grow a new head.  It was placed approximately 3" from the bottom of the tank.  Since I moved into my 65 gallon aquarium the growth has taken off.  It now has 10 heads.  It is still approximately 3" from the bottom of the tank and the new tank is the same height as the old 90 gallon.  I have never spot fed it but I'm wondering if the flow pattern is now bringing more food its way.  It has only been in the 65 gallon since the end of June.

I put 2 or 3 heads into the opening of a huge shell.  Now I've got 50 of the damn things in there, but luckily they are still in the shell, I can move em around if I want :)

Feed them mysis and they will grow.  It was weird, they would close up tight on me and I thought they were goners, but they 5 or 6 new buds would sprout and they would open back up.  Now I don't feed them.

Duncans are one of my favorite corals GO LPS GO You know they weren't readily available up until a few years ago. Really nice. I will certainly be looking for Duncans in the near future. Spot feeding with Mysis will gettem growing new heads.
