I'm praying that I can keep my tank happy so I can find some sweet frags.  I didn't come last year because I was pretty busy and my tank had just went to shit before the event.  Not happening again.

Wow, only 2 months away.... time flies

Requests for tables come trickling in, I may do a push to fill a few more and then leave a couple for 'latecomers'. If you know someone who may want a table, let them know soon.

I haven't even started begging, er asking yet.  Unlike the Toronto one there are no demands of anyone to pony up any items so it will sort of be hit-and-miss as always.  If anyone knows someone who may want to dontate a cool item for the raffle please feel free to drop me a line on it.

Remember, net proceeds 100% to charity, I only keep the money I make on my frag table, everything else goes to people more deserving

The table charge covered the hall rental 100%, but I'll be out of pocket for advertising, and the cooler bags so that hopefully will be caught up with the extra door fee this year.  I'll drop the door fee when/if the bags run out.

Just start out with the same as last year, RapidLED, Aquastyleonline, heck, even try BRS or Sealife/BA for a slammin gift card maybe as this is for Charity, not lining your pockets. 

When do doors open to public? 12-4pm'ish again?

BRS was awful last year.  One person said "talk to this person" and that person said "I don't know why they would say talk to me" etc, but I'll try lol.

I must say that I am disappointed in RapidLED not wanting to play this year. They are our major referral to DIY LED fixtures and one that several of us use on a regular basis. I was even planning on their new pucks for my next LED fixture.

I hope the others pull through, this event is going to be twice as big as last year. I am even more excited then last year.

Agreed. I ordered from them recently and shipping was expensive and took forever. Just ordered some stuff from LEDGroupBuy, and it shipped quickly, lets see how long it takes to arrive.

Salty, maybe hit them up for a prize.
