Lowish flow, medium light.  I have my frogspawn at the bottom of my tank in a low flow spot where it gets a gentle sway.  It's been growing slowly but steadily since I got it last June, from the size of a ping pong ball to the size of maybe a hardball.  In your tank you could probably place them anywhere, height wise... but keep them a fair distance from the MP40.

I've got my branched hammers middle tank, and my torch near the top, both in moderate flow.  I originally had my torch in the sand, but my watchman goby kept moving it around when "working" in that area.  Seems happy anywhere. Neither seems to be very picky as far as placement goes.

I've got a Torch and a Octospawn and i'm not getting Polyp extension from them, both of them have heads that are splitting. I have growth but not expansion and I'm looking for the right spot. I've read that you've got to leave them in a particular spot for a couple of weeks to see improvement. I also have 2 other Frogs that are ok and a very small hammer that's doing ok. Thanks for your help.  I think i'm gonna have to move the Octospawn it's 9 inches directly in front of the MP40

I find all my lps do the best on the bottom but my tanks is geared towards sps.. so i guess itll depend on your flow and lighting. But my bottom lps get a light to medium.flow with medium lightinf and there doing great.

If the polyps are getting banged around by the current that would really cause them to pull in.  I definitely wouldn't have one in front of an MP40, but below it perhaps.  Euphyllia love indirect flow that gently pulls at the polyps - the hammers and frogspawn in particular.  Torches may be a little more tolerant of chaotic flow.  Good luck and let us know how they do!
