i found some super strong magnets at work that are identical in size to the magnets that are on hydors..are all magnets safe in our tanks or are they a special kind that are tank safe??
No waY. Neodymium magnets will rust and cause loss to corals. Magnets that are used for aquarium use are insulated by plastic and or a silicone based plastic. Wouldn't take the chance
