I have a Kent one that is identical to the aquatic gardener one they are good for tight spaces but my number one most used / favourite grabber are the big black and yellow ones from dollarama. I always have one in use and a couple of backups in the cabinet.

That reminds me, home hardware has a heavy duty grabber that is great when working with rock. Can't find the exact one i had on website, but was black and yellow, cost about $30.

Thanks for all the information. I guess I'll have to make trip to the dollar store and if they don't work then I'll have to look into other options.

i broke a peice of coral with mine i then set them against the wall and pulled a chuck norris problem solved. i now just use my nimble fingers :) alot less swearing and no more dropping things on other things. but i would go with the dino one and nickname it the damsel tamer lol

I get the stainless long reach ones from harbour freight in USA. They are a foot long I have 2 other grabbers that are 24 inches long but you have to make sure you soak me in fresh water after as the springs are steel

Those pincher things really suck for the most part. They can not really hold anything of weight and salt will eventually make them difficult to open and close unless you clean them regularly. Go for a nice longer tweezer style and you should be good.
