I have 2 MP40 in my 70 LPS, I took one out cause theres too much flow even on the lowest setting, I put the wp25 in the tank but that's a lot of flow as well, Can I run one of the MP40 off the battery full time, it's still got a broad Flow but at the minimal speed.

It is rated to run 1 mp40 for 36 hours on lowest setting, which I believe it defaults to in power outage

Yes but if it's plugged in and charging then it should run the pump and be ready if the power goes out?

not so, if the charger cant provide enough amps to power the power heads and charge the battery eventually you are going to either kill the battery or the charging device.

You plug mp40 into wall outlet, plug battery backup into wall outlet. You will then connect the included cable from the battery backup to the mp40. When the main power port detects a power outage it switches ports and begins to pull power from battery .

If there is still main power, your battery won't be being used, but WILL be ready to backup mp40 in event of power outage.

will nattery nack up still come on if yu where not even home  when power goes out ?  even if yu have it hooked to any controller  ..the controller  will bbe dead

Yes it will if hooked up the way I explained (that's the whole point of them) if you have it hooked to controller it is still going to see that there is no main power and will start to use the battery. You are supposed to fully drain battery by running powerhead with no main power every 6 months I believe, for the battery to have a longer life.

You can also dial down that WP25 if you want. It runs at 100%, 75% and 50% in wave mode if you find there is too much flow.

I run the WP25 on Else mode at 100% in a 40G without any issues at all.
