Hey everyone i have my QT (14g biocube) just sitting around not doing anything cause im not adding anymore fish for a while.. i was thinking of turning it into a Mushroom/Zoa /softy tank, was wondering if i could get away with about 10 Lbs of LR and filling the refugium with bio balls. I am not running a skimmer cause im doing weekly water changes. Will this be ok?should i not use any bioballs in the refuge? do i need Chaeto in there also??

thats about what im doing on my 10g softy frag tank,, bio balls in an aquaclear 110 with cheato in the tank (i dont care how it looks) and weekly water changes.. it seems to be working fine...
zoa/ mushroom tanks are great,, soo many varieties to choose from and mix together..

Absolutely, that will be fine. Softies and zoos will benefit from a \"dirtier\" system anyways.

Hey are you calling my system dirty? Haha

Truth be told he is correct.
