Unfortunately I haven't been able to get her to come out of hiding and sit still enough to get a picture.

She has a light coloured lump on her head.  It's more like a spot with no blue than a white spot.  Right above her eyes, like on her forehead. HLLE would be a depression between her eyes correct?

Other than that she is fat and happy.  She's about 4-5 inches long.  1 year old.

She hides a lot - I'm wondering if she just ran into a rock... Any other ideas?

When I did a hyposalinity treatment to my fish, the hippo got some fungus at the end of the treatment. It was mainly due to water quality in the QT. Healed right away after I raised the salinity and moved it to DT. I don't think it is your problem here.

Sometimes it gets whiteish patches on its head or light white scratches on sides. I assume it is from rocks or at time of feeding when they bump their heads into the weed clip. It clears out in a day or two. I think the hippo's skin (scales) is very thin compared to other fish and this is the reason for being more susceptible to damages and parasites.
