Very cool how big do they get?

According to LiveAquaria it can get to be 1' 4" long. Since our tank is now a 260 gallon it will fit right in and we won't have to re-home it as it gets bigger. We have a tendency to get quite attached to our fish and don't like to have to find new owners as they grow so we only buy what our tank will handle.
It had it's first feeding of frozen food today. We're not quite sure yet how to best feed him as he is afraid of the feeding tongs and hides every time we put them in holding the frozen food. It eventually took a piece as it drifted by but that can be a challenge as we may end up with lots that float past that it doesn't see.

Today we went for a drive to Kitchener and had to stop by Aquariums by Design. Of course it is always difficult to go into a fish store and not come out with anything! We found this wonderful Argus Grouper thanks to Jeff and couldn't resist. It is about 7-8 inches long already and has some beautiful colors. My camera doesn't do it justice but here he is:

We have the tank a little dark right now to help him acclimatize but the other fish have all been going up close to him to see what he is about. Jeff assured us that he only eats frozen so I'm hoping he's right. The smaller fish are prudently staying out of his way and the others are all trying to look as big as they can...

Finally got a halfway decent picture of the Cuban Hogfish today using the sports feature on the camera but he is still a little blurry. Maybe I can get a better one later.

Staying out of the Grouper's way...

When the Grouper has settled in a bit better I'll try to get some clearer pictures with better lighting but couldn't wait to share! :)
