Need some help with Aiptasia

I have a minor Aiptasia outbreak in my tank. It started with one or two, now I have dozens of tiny ones. I've tried the peppermint shrimp, but once I put them in the tank, I never see them again. Aiptasia-x has been tried, it may get rid of the big ones but I can't hit all the tiny ones as well. What should I do??

I've done a little searching on these and they sound like something worth trying. Do you know if they are available locally? Any experience with them?

i have no experience with these but have 2 Aiptasia i can not get at with a syringe and be confident i wont spread them in my tank,i am looking into these myself

I'm pretty sure there not easy to get you're hands on, if I recall Hayes tried to do a group order on them and they were something like 14$ a piece ( could
Be wrong, but i know they were to much $$ ) and they die After their out of food ( aiptasia).

check your overflows and sump for shrimp.... they really liek to make the trip through my piping to my basement.

I used boiling hot water two days ago and blasted the little suckers with it, they melted away instantly, haven't came back out since. Time to heat up more water and get the rest, previously was a trial run and it was a success.

I just bought a coral and it had 1 piece on it, just got home from work and its gone. Current tank mates are 2 clown fish,  1 cleaner shrimp, 1 pom pom crab.

None of the livestock listed would remove aiptasia, so my guess is its still there so keep an eye out.

those guys move around and when threatened will spill its seed throughout the tank.only a clean death will be good enough
