Nem Splitting ????

my green long tentacle nem has been acting weird since the change over and now I am wondering if its trying to split.. its mouth looks like a large bubble and today I noticed that the mouth has a split straight across it..Has anyone had a nem split and is this normal...thanks..

Hope my anemone will split soon, the darn thing are so big when it is fully inflate

when mine split ... it hide for a few days then it came out and there was 2 ... I wish you luck heath !!

I hear what your saying, this thing is a good 12 - 16" and was going to frag it, hopefully it will do it on its own..

its not hiding or trying to, just has a bubble mouth...if I was going to frag it, the cut would be made exactly where the split is.. who knows..

just googled it and I think that's what its doing, there were pictures showing how the mouth bubbles out.. fingers crossed././. it is one of my favourite pieces..maybe changing the tank over and adding a bigger sump has helped with the water quality,...
