Nice picture Neo!!  Catch him and put him in a little sandwich container with holes drilled all over it so water can flow thru it, then sell him.  LOL!

lol ya corals woudl be nice :) I am too cheap to buy colonies always frags :)

Its a Canon D3100.  Reason for selecting that one?  It came in Red, and the wife liked the color:)

I like it but I think that my old point and shoot had a better auto white balance feature than this thing.  I porbably just need to learn how to use it more.

Nothing wrong with frags.  Most of my corals have been grown from frags.....although I didn't do it that way for monetary reasons.

Patience is the key to this hobby......  keep up the good work.

Picked up a bunch of corals from jmonker today:) Will post pictures later.

I also got my DIY Input Box for the APex finished. Each input has a plug for a float switch and a 3 way toggle switch to manually override the float or just use the input as a button/Switch.  Handy when my display is upstairs and i need to turn the equipment off downstairs.

:)

Updated shots of the Basement Sump/ Workstation, Pics of my DIY Input box for the apex controller. And Pics of how my LED Fixtures are mounted.

Apex Break Out Box.

Each input also has a manual switch.  Up is always On, Middle is always Off, and Down is doing whatever the switch is doing.  So when I need to drain water below my low sump cut off or somethign I can just manually override the switch and keep my system from turn off in response to the low water level :)

Now I can turn my skimmer off in the basement with a switch instead of pulling the cord from the power strip.
If anyone is under takign this project, you will need a mini din 8 cable.  I only used half mine so I have one available.

Next plan is to sink a shallow plastic tray/tub into the table and a sheet of plexi and make a fraggin station.  Probably add a "faucet" from my RODI tank and drain it to the house sump pit :)

looks fantastic

Most of my breakout box got used up by float switches.  All I had left over was 3, one to stop all the pumps, powerheads, skimmer etc for feeding, one to manually override the lights, and one for a light in the sump.
