I found out I must have the luckiest fish alive in my tank. Found a black clown fish in my refugium section in my sump. Not a big deal to find a fish in my sump downstairs, what is crazy is that the refugium is SOLELY fed by a recycle line off the main pump. There is no way for this fish to get into that section unless it can jump 6inches+ over the baffle.
That means that this little bastard took the full siphon ride to the basement... got washed over a baffle into the return section of the sump, got sucked up into the Reeflo Hammerhead pump, through the impellor, happened to catch the teed off line to the refugium, squeezed through a substantially pinched in valve, and landed in the refugium. He is happy, swimming, glad to be back with its buddy upstairs, eating, and has no damage other then a scuff on its lower jaw.
Lucky Fish.
I think I will devise a way for him to pick lottery numbers.
Also came down stairs and found my Wireless adaptor for the internet hanging in the sump water... oops... guess velcro isnt as strong as I thought
