Neptune Afs Any Good?

I am looking for a automatic Fleek food feeder. I am intrigued with the Neptune Afs system. I like the way it will turn off my return pumps when feeding. Has anybody used it? I have had eheim feeders in the past and they worked quite well for me. Just wondering now if I should spend a bit more to get it to work with my Apex? What do you think?

I don't personally use one. But have seen it in action. It's a pretty cool unit. It will retract after feeding to prevent moisture from getting into the food hopper.
The only thing I've noticed is its quite loud when running. But other than that. Like all Neptune products. Seems very well built

You can get a generic one for half the price. They build it for Neptune, it's exactly the same, just no Apex interface, so depends if you want that interface or not. I have one (Neptune), and it works pretty well. People will gripe about being careful about it dumping in your tank. The mechanism to get the cup off and where you grab from is the same part as the lid so to speak. So if you aren't careful you don't pull the cup out, you pull the lid off. Personally, I'm just careful with it and have zero issues.

The only thing I heard that was bad about it, is that it is quite noisy when running. I will be getting one soon, but the noise won't be an issue for me, since I will only use it while away.

anyone i know with one likes it alot. if a little sound for 3 seconds is your only concern id say thats damn good
