So I bought this Oceanic Biocube from a member on the board (Actually it's been owned by a few of you)

I bought some crushed aragonite and some base rock.  Glued the base rock to the back.

The skimmer that came with the deal didn't work so I have this guy on order

It's the Aquaticlife Mini Internal 115.  Has pretty good reviews.

It's currently cycling.  It's *supposed to be* set up as a seahorse tank.

Any input sofar?

Skimmer came today.  With a minor modification to chamber one (remove the filter track) it slid in with ease.

DIY'd a media rack out of egg crate and a food grade rubermaid container.  Seems to work.  Nothing in it but a bit of filter floss at the moment.

Oh, one more thing.  Added Bio-Spira to get the bacteria going and temporarily added two cardinals to help add some ammonia :)  In 6 weeks I'll move them over to my main display.

Don't add live fish to help cycle your tank. It's hard on the fish. There should be plenty of threads on fish less cycles for your tank....

I used biospira.  They'll be just fine.
