Well this is a test I can keep a bta its just I stopped feeding him for 4 months it was my fault and my elegance I bought in rough shape so the Duncan coral looked good and it opens up nicely and I just fed it if they die then I'll pay someone to look at it but I think everything's sorted out ! I talked to a guy today with the same fluval leds I have and he's growing lots of stuff I got the bta for 40 and the Duncan has 6 heads and I paid 25 at aquariam by design and they looked healthy !

maybe not, that's a really good price for the bt, they are one of my favourites and I am hoping to add some more to my tank down the road..Did I understand correctly that you didn't feed them for 4 mths, that's bad,

I had a Nem that I didn't feed for 12 years then I traded away....I must have been slowly starving him...lol

Feeding Nems is much overrated and overdone IMO especially for the species we usually keep. If you put any frozen foods in the tank for the fish they will get more than enough to supplement photosynthesis which is their primary energy source.

Correct atleast 3 months I use to feed it every other day and it would get all bubble tips and was doing great then I did a dramatic rearrange about 5 months ago and the anemone kind of was hidden I tried to feed it but gave up and crossed my fingers my old leds would keep it alive . Well it did for a few months but then it died (went through the filter)

The new bta is doing great and doing the job! No more sassy clows pecking at my elegance and cabage coral now I pray she dosent touch my Duncan !

True but, not everyone feeds frozen foods...they get nothing from flakes and pellets..
