Picked up a new green bubble tip anemone on the weekend. He moved into a "cave" area of the tank on the first night and has remained there now since Sunday. He is not getting any direct light and it's difficult to get food to him.

So, should I leave it be or try to move some rock to get him him more exposed to the lights?

Thanks

I would give him another day or so. If he still doesn't peak out in the next day or two. I would try and move him if you can. If you can't. Sometimes directing some flow into the spot he's hiding might encourage him to move out to the open.
Anemones are tricky at getting to stay. Good luck

I wouldn't be concerned with it dying because of the lack of light or food. I'd be more worried about it being eaten by a power head.
I had an anemone that split off my main one and live in the rock work for over two months before it resurfaced and I removed it. Was bleached out. But came back in full swing in less than a month in my frag tank
