has anyone had issues ever on getting fish ?

Since starting my new 40 gallon as of today I finally finished stocking it !
But I did lose out on the way.. I HAD 1 fairy wrasse & 1 solar fairy & now today my cleaner wrasse ..
Both very healthy fish eating like crazy swimming like usual ..
So then a week or 2 goes by they will start twitching and what not, (almost act like they arnt them selves)
I totally understand that it could be bad luck , but I've been in. This hobby for a year now and I feel like I know how important consistency is for keeping water not always perfect but as consistence as possible , now crosst my finger a all my fine will be fine

I've had 2 clown and a fire fish for 10 months and 1 green chromis and 1 yellow wrasse 1 hoevens wrasse who are doing fine and great nothing's changed in their behaviour ,

Anyone had any issues with this stuff

Shouldn't be to many fish, I've got 2-clowns, watchman goby, azure damsel, three blue chromis, mandarin goby, in a 20g tall and they all have been fine and no stress for almost a year, I'm thinking bad fish, did you get them from the same place?

Well the onl wrasse that are left atm are hoevens (adult) and a baby yellow wrasse

I feed mysis one day pellets next . The hardest fish was the cleaner I couldn't get him to eat pellets and once he cleaned the fish he didn't come out for 5 days and I use garlic stuff ever so often with mysis

To many fish, your bio load can't handle the amount of fish so the weakest fish will die. Don't listen to salesmen in stores, they want u to come back and buy more or equipment. I only have pair of clarkii clowns and a flame angel and green coriss wrasse in my 46 gal, they all need room to grow. corals also need to use your systems bio load. Get bigger tank or add lots and lots of liverock.

I would say most people have issues with fish at the beginning, if not one thing is another. I think is because the tank are not mature enough. As my tank is mature I can add any fish, just worry about the bullies
