I currently have the 150W mh stock light over my old jbj cube, I want to get rid of the hood entirely and was thinking on getting leds, any recommendations on lights?
I was looking at the AI nano led and think it would be a good light

If it was me, I would be waiting for the new EcoTech XR15w that will be available in July. :)
Any idea on price range and will you guys be carrying them?

I still have some par38s that would be a good option to replace a single MH

Personally i would never go with a brand new product till the bugs have been worked out and with led's do not cheap out the good units are more expensive because of the type and quality of the led i am running 4 sol blue modules on my 125 and have a mixed reef everything doing great and no bleaching just start low and work the power up from there my buddy has the ai nano and loves it

Agree with jeff and alot cheaper than a unit and still does the trick.... great alternative to blowing your wallet

This light seems interesting; http://www.aliexpress.com/item/120w-full-spectrum-programmable-led-aquarium-lighting/1869416572.html.
Im still a bit aprehensive on the random Chinese lights.

Thoughts on par38 bulbs though, how many would I need..

One razor on my new cube is plenty I think

I think the Radion would be over kill for a little Cube like that, even the Chinese ones are way to powerfull, If I were you I'd go with the AI Nano or the Maxspect Razor Nano.

The 160W Razor will be perfect for that sized cube. I would think you're going to need to switch optics to the 120 degrees in order to cover 30" front to back.

My 120W razor is barely enough to cover my 24" front to back. I also hung my lights at about 10" above water line.

Oynx by rapidled seems interesting to: http://www.rapidled.com/dimmable-onyx-by-rapid-led/
and its apex compatible

Onyx has my attention as well. Only I would like to custom the leds in the fixture with more UV. You can do a diy of the Onyx, they offer the fixture case, the rest is easy.
